Senior Taveon Harris is excited to play his basketball season.

The boys basketball season tips off against Mt. Morris on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at home.

Coach Paul Adas thinks his team will feel the loss of the seniors.

“The team had a rough ending to the season last year, as they lost three seniors who were the teams’ leading scorers,” Adas said.

Adas predicts the season will be full of athleticism, ball-hogging defense, and many turnovers that lead to many baskets.

Senior Devyn Sredich is prepared for a good season.

But the Hornets will have weaknesses going into the season, too.

Adas knows his team will have some weaknesses, which will be lack of experience, the loss of the three seniors, the loss of three strong defenders, and the loss of the senior captains.

Adas plans to help his team become better defensive players to allow them to win more games this season.

With the team’s athleticism and ball turnover abilities, the Hornets should succeed this year.
