Miley Cyrus redeems her innocence

Miley Cyrus released her new album “Younger Now” in late September.

This album is a far throw from the music she made a year ago. This soft pop/country album is happy and youthful in comparison to her R&B past.

There are 11 songs on this album, so let’s start with the song called “Younger Now.”

In this song, Cyrus talks about how she’s moved on from her past and feels younger now.

One lyric says Cyrus “feels like I just woke up.” This speaks to how she used to act when she was a reckless and crazy teen.

In another song, “Malibu,” Cyrus talks about how she’s happy to be where she is but she’s surprised. She sings, “It’s a brand new start, a dream come true, in Malibu.”

A lot of the songs talk about how her life has changed a lot recently: all for the better. She thanks an unnamed person throughout the songs andĀ talks about the struggles in her relationship and her internal struggles with life.

The lyrics are deep and moving, and the country fling keeps things interesting, as well.

Cyrus is back to normal, making music many can enjoy — even preteens — and normal stage performances.

This album is filled with many songs I personally enjoy and many songs with the potential to hit the mainstream radio.

Cyrus isn’t new to that kind of publicity. Her song “Malibu” reached No. 1 in the charts when it first came out, and many of her songs have been on the top charts in the past.

I guess it’s safe to say we will be hearing more from Cyrus in the years to come. For those who never gave up on her, she may have redeemed herself with this album.
