Baseball loses two to Swartz Creek.
The baseball team lost both games in a doubleheader to Swartz Creek on Tuesday, May 3.
Kearsley dropped the first game 10-2, managing to get two runs across.
Senior Nolan Crannie led the Hornets offensively with three hits in the loss.
Pitcher Brennen Colley, senior, struggled and ended up taking the loss.
The Hornets bounced back in the second game and stayed within one run of the Dragons but eventually fell 6-5.
Seniors Ryan Bennett and Antonio St. John both tallied two hits, leading the team on offense.
The team is 5-11 on the season, 1-8 in league contests.
The Hornets are looking to rebound on Friday, May 6, at Davison.
