The soccer team mercied the LakeVille Falcons 8-0 on Tuesday April 18.

This was Kearsley’s first mercy of the season and many of the players are impressed with themselves.

Several Hornets shared in scoring goals.

They were freshman Alexa Lippert and sophomores Marysa Gatica, Emily Diehl, and Brooklyn Dever.

In addition, juniors Alexis Allen and Alexis Kelly, and, finally, seniors Megan Livingston and Anessia Dell all scored goals.

Freshman Chloe Vollmar received the honor of being the MVP at the game.

“It felt good. I was very proud of myself as well as my team for making it possible,” Vollmar said

Diehl scored a goal 20 minutes into the second half.

“I was thrilled to score my first varsity goal,” Diehl said.

Gatica, Kelly, Dell, Livingston and Lippert scored the first five goals in the first half of the game.

Following those goals, Diehl, Dever, and Allen scored the last points of the game in the second half.

The Hornets (5-0) host Southwestern Academy on Wednesday, April 20, at 6 p.m.
