Track teams host Early Bird Invite
Five relay teams earn medals
The Kearsley track teams hosted eight other teams on Wednesday, April 13, at the annual Kearsley Early Bird Invitational.
The invitational is an all-relay meet.
In the large school division, Carman-Ainsworth took first place for the boys with a total of 112 points.
Kearsley’s boys placed third with 67 points.
In the girls’ division, Brandon won the meet with 102 points.
Kearsley’s girls placed sixth with 60 points.
Three boys’ relays and two girls’ relays earned medals.
Kearsley Boys’ Results:
400-meter relay: Third place, 47.04

800 relay: First place, 1:33.84

Both the girls’ and boys’ track teams take on Holly and Fenton next.
The double-dual meets are at Fenton on Wednesday, April 20, at 4 p.m.
