FLVN students are excited to show off their language skills
Foreign Language Variety Night will take the stage on Thursday, March 17.
Students from the foreign language classes will get together in groups and perform for their classmates and families.
This year, Level 1 students, or first-year foreign language students, perform by invitation only.
Level 2 students, who are second-year foreign language students, have the choice to perform at night.
Since FLVN (pronounced Flay-Ven) is a grade for students, they need to take it seriously.
Performances include songs, skits, and any other presentations students choose as long as they are speaking in their foreign language.
Madame Rouvelin is excited for FLVN, as it is one of the biggest events the foreign language department does each year.
“We have been doing this for close to 15 years now,” Rouvelin said. “With every passing year, the acts get better and better.”
Junior Rian Schulz was excited to see how FLVN turns out.
“I have performed in FLVN before, and I am very excited,” Schulz said. “I am excited to see how everyone’s performances turn out and to get on stage with my group. We have worked hard, and all of the performances should be great.”
