‘Eddie the Eagle’ will make your heart soar

“Eddie the Eagle” premiered in theaters Friday, Feb. 26.

“Eddie the Eagle” will make you smile and laugh out loud.

Taron Egerton stars as Michael “Eddie” Edwards, who has dreamed of being an Olympian.

He originally wants to go for skiing, but after getting cut from the Olympic ski team, British athlete Micheal Edwards decides to try a different sport — ski jumping.

Egerton was the perfect actor to play Michael “Eddie” Edwards in this drama and sports film. Egerton wore Edwards’ big glasses and captured Edwards’ life perfectly.

Alongside Egerton, Hugh Jackman stars as Bronson Peary, former ski jumping athlete who reluctantly agrees to coach Edwards after being impressed by his spirit and perseverance.

Throughout the whole movie, Edward was told that he is not Olympic material.

He had a great comeback for people who said that to him.

“I love ski jumping,” Edwards said. “Almost as much as I love proving people wrong.”

Despite suffering from leg and knee ailments and constantly being told he is not good enough to go to the Olympics, Edwards shows himself and everyone else up by qualifying to compete in the 1988 Winter Olympics.

The movie made my heart soar.

It was so inspiring to watch. It made me feel like I can accomplish anything as long as I believe in myself, as Edwards did.

Edwards goes to great lengths to achieve his dreams, even traveling from Britain to Germany to train as a ski jumper.

Jackman adds a lot of charisma and comedy to the movie as Peary.

He always kept pushing Edwards, while believing in him when his own father would not, making the film extremely heartwarming.

This is a must-see movie if you love feel-good movies.

I give it five out of five stars.

This film shows that everyone in the world can be against you, but as long as you believe in yourself, you can accomplish anything.

“Eddie the Eagle” is truly a heartwarming sensation and I advise you to go and see it.
