‘Zoolander 2’ should be named ‘Boolander’
“Zoolander 2,” which stars Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, could be called “Boolander” for how horrendous it was.
Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson) come out of hiding after an accident to help Valentina Valencia (Penélope Cruz) prevent the murder of famous people.
It was hard to keep my attention on the movie because the plot was scattered and it had many failed attempts at comedy, which made it even harder to watch.
I honestly wanted to stand up and leave the theater. If it was not for the money I spent on the ticket, I would have.
I cannot think of one entertaining thing to have come out of this movie except for me leaving the theater after it was finished.
This movie is the sequel to “Zoolander,” which was released in 2001.
For the first movie being made over 10 years ago, a sequel was not needed, especially for how unsuccessful it was.
As a movie fanatic, I should have known this movie was going to strike out, like many other sequels have in the past.
I am disappointed in this film and wish I could get back the 90 minutes I lost while seeing this movie.
Stiller must have been desperate for a movie to have decided to bring this movie back.
The movie had been talked about positively before it premiered on Feb. 12.
But I just cannot see why it was so talked about because the movie was such a bore with all the failed attempts at comedy.
However, the movie did feature a few famous singers like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.
Nonetheless, this film was a flop.
I give this movie one out of five stars.
Stiller and Wilson are both good actors and this movie does not do them justice.
