Fenton spoils boys’ basketball senior night

The Hornets lost to Fenton on Friday, Feb. 12, spoiling senior night.

The game ended with a final score of 49-30, Fenton.

The only senior on the team, Deitrick Young, was one of the best players for the Hornets in an important game, being his final one at home.

Young scored six points and pulled down six rebounds.

Sophomore Taveon Harris led the team in scoring, adding eight points to Kearsley’s score.

Junior Darrion Younger scored six points.

Junior Chandler Ford shot 100 percent from the free-throw line.

The boys currently own a 3-13 record, 2-9 in the Flint Metro League.

The Hornets take on Frankenmuth at The Hive, Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m.
