On Friday, Jan. 22 and Saturday, Jan. 23, KBH United lost to two different teams, the score being 8-0 for both.

Both games were held at the Dort Federal Event Center.

The first night, they faced off against the Alliance Hockey team, a combined team of Dryden, Goodrich, Imlay City, LakeVille, and North Branch.

Due to the injury of Brandon senior Matt Wilson, the team was left with only seven players on the ice.

Toward the end of the first period, Alliance was up 3-0.

Presentation1The game ended early after the opposing team scored five more goals, making the final score 8-0.

The second game was going better for KBH as Wilson returned from his injury.

This time, KBH lost to the Capital Area Patriots, a combined team of Lansing Catholic Central, Mason, Charlotte, and Lansing Christian.

The first period ended with KBH losing 2-0.

In the second period, the Patriots managed to score four more goals.

In the third period, KBH was not able to pick itself up, allowing the opposing team to score two more goals.

KBH will play Warren Mott on Saturday, Jan. 30, at the Viking Arena.
