KBH United played games in back-to-back days on Friday, Jan. 15, and Saturday, Jan. 16.

The first game was against the Grand Rapids Union Flames with KBH winning 10-4 at the Griffin Ice Arena.

KBH scored first when Brandon junior Cadan Sans scored his first goal of the season.

Although the Flames tied the score quickly, freshman Landon Kash scored two goals.

Brandon seniors Matt Wilson and Mackenzie Bolton along with Holly sophomore AJ Incammicia each scored one goal.

This ended the first period with a 6-1 lead.

Brandon senior Kirk Wells and Incammicia each made a goal in the second period, making the score 8-2.

In the third period, Wilson completed a hat trick, scoring his third goal of the game.

The next day, KBH played a combined team of Flushing, Swartz Creek, and Clio at the Iceland Arena, losing 8-0.

The game started off well with KBH only allowing the opposing team to score one goal.

In the second period, Brandon junior Cadan Sans was forced to sit out due to a knee injury, aiding the other team to score four more goals.

Although the game ended with a losing score of 8-0, Brandon senior Brent Luxon made 37 saves out 45 shots.

KBH will play Fenton for a Flint Metro League match-up on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 5 p.m. at the Dort Federal Event Center.
