Holly beat the boys’ basketball team 74-36 on Tuesday, Jan. 12.

Junior Chandler Ford, captain, and junior Devyn Sredich each scored eight points for the Hornets.

The Hornets (0-4 league, 1-6 overall) struggled to rebound against Holly.

Sophomore Kyle Palka led the Hornets with four rebounds.

The Bronchos are currently tied for first in the Flint Metro League and undefeated at 6-0 overall.

On Friday, Jan. 15, the Hornets travel to Brandon.

Coach Paul Adas is making efforts to prepare his team for this game since Kearsley has a long winning streak against the Blackhawks.

“The past seven years Kearsley boys’ basketball has never lost to Brandon,” Adas said. “We are 14-0 against them.”
