Instead of Black Friday, The Hornets Nest will have a Black Tuesday sale on Nov. 24.

Seniors Tyler Schwerin and Antonio St. John are in charge of the sales on Black Tuesday, a first of its kind, and take pride in the Hornets Nest.

Schwerin is excited for the Black Tuesday sale.

“The greatest deals of your life are on Black Tuesday,” Schwerin said. “You do not want to miss school that day.”

St. John adds that this sale is different from Black Friday sales, as it is on Tuesday.

“It is more exciting because our sale is on Tuesday, not Friday,” St. John said. “It feels like you get two great sale days: Black Tuesday and Black Friday.”

There will be many deals that students and staff could be interested in.

One of the deals is 25 percent off all apparel.

The Hornets Nest sells all kinds of apparel, including hoodies, T-shirts, and sweatpants.

The second deal is a Slushy or Gatorade with popcorn for a $1.50.
