Parents may pick up report cards at parent-teacher conferences
Parent-teacher conferences will be held Thursday, Nov. 12, where students’ report cards will be handed out to parents.
Conferences begin at 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., then there will be a brief 30-minute break for teachers to have dinner.
The conferences will resume at 6 p.m. and last until 9 p.m.
At conferences, parents are allowed to visit with their children’s teachers to see their grades, how their performance is in class, and ask questions.
Students are able to attend the parent-teacher conferences as well; however, it is not required unless otherwise directed by a teacher.
If a student’s parents are not able to attend, the student is able to get his or her report card from the media center on Monday.
Mr. Jared Rawls, English teacher, hopes to see everyone’s parents there.
“I wish more parents would come out to the conferences,” Rawls said. “It is very helpful to be able to speak with parents.”
