Senior Philip Hawes competes last season as a junior.

The boys’ bowling team is looking forward to defending its state title for the second year in a row.

The team has been making strides to remain competitive in the future.

Senior Philip Hawes will be an important player for the 2015-2016 season.

“I’m looking forward to hopefully going to states again this year,” Hawes said.

Along with the girls’ bowling team, the boys’ team also earned a trip to the state capitol last year to be recognized for its success in the 2014-2015 season.

The Hornets plan to work just as hard as they did last year to be successful.
