The Kearsley/Clio swim and dive team eagerly anticipates its first practice on Nov. 24. With 10 new swimmers from recruitment night, the team has a strong outlook on the new season.

Last season, the team placed fifth out of the six teams at the 2014 Metro Laegue Meet. With hopes set high, Coach Jeff Gilbert and new Assistant Coach Dave Barrett plan to help the team place at least third in 2015.

The swimmers are uncertain on how they will place this year, since they have not seen the competition, but they have high hopes of winning.

Senior Joe Dever said, “We are going to work our butts off and surprise everyone at Metros (League Meet) like we did last year.”
