Softball team wins a doubleheader, ends it with a rap
The softball team had a doubleheader victory on April 16 at Flushing.
The first game was 8-2 and the second 3-1. The Hornets improved to 3-2-1.
Junior Sydney Ouellette, the pitcher for both games, thought that she could have batted better, but her pitching made up for it.
Ouellette has already had offers to play college softball as a pitcher.
“I think we did better this game than the rest of the season,” Ouellette said.
During an MLive interview recently, senior Kaitlin Dormire mentioned that the team raps as a way of having fun and team bonding.
“We didn’t really do raps,” Ouellette said. “But now we really are making a mix tape.”
