Baseball wins, ties at Flushing
The Hornets won 8-2 in their first game April 16 at Flushing.
Senior Tyler Kirkwood pitched seven innings giving up four hits. He struck out 12 and gave up four runs.
Senior Alex Driskill led the offense with three doubles.
Junior Noah Jankowski knocked in three runs.
The second game ended in a 5-5 tie.
Senior Jacob Lucius led the team with three hits.
Junior Antonio St. John pitched five and 1/3 innings.
The Hornets play Holly at home April 20.
