The quiz bowl team finished its Metro League season flawless with an 11-0 record.

Their final three wins were against Lapeer, Flushing, and Brandon.

The record brings the Hornets to a 27-1 overall record through two separate leagues.

The first match of the meet was against Lapeer.

The Hornets took the lightning out of Lapeer with a score of 570-140.

Junior Matt Ehrmantraut put up 45 points with three questions answered.

The second match was against Flushing, ending with a score of 555-385.

Down 150 after first round, seniors Connor Earegood and Chris Moyer pillaged the Raiders in the final rounds after the team scored a perfect Beatles-themed worksheet round

The third and final match of the season was against Brandon, and was another easy victory for the Hornets.

The Hornets will face their Metro League rivals in the Metro League tournament Wednesday, March 4.
