Scholars to be inducted into NHS

The National Honor Society inductions are Nov. 20 at 7 p.m.

There will be 42 juniors inducted and two seniors. All current NHS members will be in attendance.

Mr. John Hall, keynote speaker at the inductions, said, “I am always excited to go to the NHS induction because they are the premiere students at Kearsley High School, and it’s nice to be able to send a positive message to them about the impacts they’re going to make in the world.”

This is Hall’s third consecutive year as keynote speaker.

The induction begins with the procession of members and inductees. It then proceeds to opening remarks and the ceremonial candle lighting.

Each inductee then walks across the stage to receive a pin and certificate.

The new members will say the NHS pledge and Hall will speak, followed by closing remarks from Principal Brian Wiskur.

A reception will immediately follow.
