Boys basketball fell to the Goodrich Martians 89-59 Tuesday, Dec. 17.

Boys basketball fell to Goodrich 89-39 in its third Metro League game Tuesday, Dec. 17.

Despite falling to the Martians, juniors Jo Coleman, Braylon Silvas, and Conner Cooper led the team with 11 points each.

Silvas and Cooper both hauled in four of the Hornets’ 17 rebounds.

Committing 24 turnovers hurt the Hornets.

Cooper expects his team to move forward stronger this season by working together.

“We need to work on our communication,” Cooper said. “We are definitely working on our team chemistry.”

Now 1-2, the Hornets will take on the Swartz Creek Dragons Friday, Dec. 20, at Swartz Creek High School.
