People should pay attention to politics

In today’s society, people tend to be too busy to worry about politics, or they simply do not care.

Whether it be by voting or just keeping up to date with political matters, everyone who is capable of understanding politics should know what’s going on in your community, state, nation, and world.

Politics affects everyone’s life in one way or another.

People should know if war is becoming a possibility for their nation.

People should know if a country is planning an attack.

People should know if a murky past shadows their president.

Yet, they do not.

Common people need to vote, stay informed, and speak up when they feel something is not right.

Voting is important.

Voting determines the person who will be making big choices for not only cities and states, but our country.

If everyone were to vote, the outcomes of polls would be more accurate and would better represent the majority of the people.

Keeping up with politics is becoming more and more uncommon, and when people try to bring it up, it is labeled as a failed attempt at small talk.

To some people, politics can be a really boring discussion.

But when people actually know what they’re talking about, politics can spark deep conversations.

As citizens, we need to be aware of what’s happening around us.
