Boys basketball scorched by Dragons
The boys basketball team lost to Swartz Creek 71-45 in an away game Friday, Feb. 8.
Coach Paul Adas was disappointed in the team’s performance from the start.
“It was a beat down from the first quarter,” Adas said.
Leading the team was senior Saif Dawan, scoring 13 points.
Junior Gequez Pano and freshman Derrick Phipps both chipped in an additional eight points each.
Kearsley is now 5-7 in the Metro League and 9-7 overall.
The Hornets take on Brandon in a home game Tuesday, Feb. 12.
