Silvas, Dawan lead boys basketball past the Trojans
The boys basketball team defeated Owosso 66-39 on Friday, Jan. 11, on the Trojans’ home court.
Sophomore Braylon Silvas scored 16 points, leading the team to victory.
Senior Saif Dawan scored 14 points and senior Trevor Shaheen scored 12 points, aiding in the Hornets’ triumph.
Coach Paul Adas remains hopeful for further improvement among the team members.
“We’re getting better,” Adas said.
The Hornets are now 6-4 overall, and are 2-4 in the Metro League.
The team will tip off at Brandon on Tuesday, Jan. 15.
