Girls’ basketball loses to Linden
The girls’ basketball team lost 60-32 on Feb. 3 at Linden.
Junior Diane Bond led Kearsley (2-13, 0-10) with 13 points.
Sophomore Rachel Tolley scored seven points.
“We started off strong in the first half, but we had a weak second half,” Bond said. “We only had seven girls because of injuries and sicknesses that caused us to struggle.
“Our bench players will need to step up and fill the empty positions for our next few games.”
The Hornets visit Flushing on Feb. 6 at 6 p.m.
