Golf trampled by Bronchos

The golf team fell to the Holly Bronchos on Wednesday, April 25, 178-184.
The teams played at the Heather Highlands golf course.
Senior Jack Vollmar led the Hornets with a 41.
“I thought I played well based on how the weather was,” Vollmar said. “Every week I’m trying to lead with a good score.”
Vollmar has been on the golf team since his freshman year. He feels like he is setting an example for his younger teammates.
“I’m trying to be a good leader for them,” Vollmar said.
Junior Stephen White shot a score of 44, junior Tyler Gronauer had a 47, and junior Logan Loyer finished with a 52.
Kearsley is now 1-1 in the Flint Metro League.
The Hornets will compete against Fenton at the Coyote Preserve on Friday, April 27.
