We say that we can’t wait to leave, but is anyone really ready to leave?

I don’t think you can ever really know until it’s already been done.

School has been somewhat of a “security blanket” for a lot of us. We have always had a set routine to follow, made by someone else to guide us everyday.

Leaving home, going to college, being independent and starting a new chapter in your life sounds scary.

What do I truly want to be when I grow up?

Happy. It’s as simple as that.

Thank you to my teachers and friends — even the ones I have lost — I have made while being here. All of you have helped me, in one way or another, to discover passions, push myself, to laugh, to love, and, most importantly, grow.

Even if I never see any of these people after I graduate, I can always look back on the memories that being here has given me. Those will never fade.
