Boys basketball defeats Mt. Morris

Junior Saif Dawan scored 22 points in the season opener against Mt. Morris, Tuesday, Dec. 5.
The boys basketball team won 71-32 against Mt. Morris in a home basketball game Tuesday, Dec. 5.
Junior Saif Dawan led the team with 16 points in the first half and finished the game with 22 overall.
Freshman Braylon Silvas scored 10 points and senior Taveon Harris added another 9 points.
The Hornets remained in the lead at halftime with a score of 34-17.
Kearsley pulled off a big win in its season opener.
