Swim team beats Carman-Ainsworth
The Kearsley/Clio swim and dive team won its second meet in a row Jan. 6 defeating Carman-Ainsworth 103-59.
Team Captains Ryan Walker, Joe Dever, and Brendan Evenson shined at the meet, helping the team claim its victory.
Kearsley placed first in the 200-yard medley relay with a relay team of Senior Ryan Waker, Junior Trent Kehoe, Freshman Noel Nowacki, and Senior Brendan Evenson with a time of 1:58.44. The same relay team took first in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:48.26.
Evenson took first in diving with a score of 199.90, setting a personal record.
The underclassmen also took part in the team’s victory.
In addition to their two relay wins, Nowacki won the 50 free in 25.93, and Kehoe won the 100 breast in 1:12.10.
