Mentors to help freshmen cram for exams

Semester exams are right around the corner, and for many freshmen, they are their first.

To help the freshmen, Mr. Matt Moore, assistant principal, and the Freshman Mentors are conducting a cram session the night before exams begin.

From 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 20 in the cafeteria, pizza, pop, and other snacks will be offered to students who partake in the cram session.

Moore hopes that 75 to 100 freshmen will take advantage of this activity.

Freshman Kaylee Meyers would like to attend the cram session, but she has to get permission from her mom first.

Meyers said the cram session will help.

“It’s last-minute studying,” Meyers said, “so it will help me remember everything.”

The study session will consist of mentors assisting freshmen on any subject.

All freshmen are welcome, and the mentors will be happy to help them study.
