The swim team lost its meet against Brandon 91-77 on Thursday, Feb. 2.

Although the Hornets lost the meet, they ended with many first place finishes.

Freshman Hunter O’Connor and junior Richard Jackson led the team in wins.

O’Connor finished first in the 200-yard free style and the 100 free style while Jackson finished first in the 100 backstroke and 100 breaststroke.

Senior Lorenzo Hosch also won the 50 freestyle and junior Noel Nowacki won the 100 butterfly.

The team also finished first in two relays: the 200 medley relay and the 200 freestyle.

The 200 medley relay consisted of junior Sebastion Young, Hosch, Jackson, and Nowacki.

The winning 200 freestyle relay included Hosch, Jackson, Nowacki, and O’Connor.

Kearsley’s next meet is at Holly on Thursday, Feb. 9.
