Boys’ bowling not spared by Swartz Creek
The boys’ bowling team lost its second match of the season Dec. 9 against Swartz Creek 9-21.
Kearsley fell behind early in points 4-6 and could never make a come-back.
The boys lost the first individual game 1,000-1,005, and the second individual game 992-1,016. A close match, Kearsley ended just 29 pins short of Creek’s 2,025.
Kearsley’s single game high was a 234, bowled by senior Lucas Schofield.
Schofield beat Swartz Creek’s Luke Rigdon, who rolled a 223.
In the second individual game, Schofield and junior Chad Stephen split a game, but could only muster a 124, which was not good enough to beat Rigdon’s 243.
