Students will have a great opportunity to gain experience for future jobs through TeenQuest, a free pre-employment and leadership program, that is helping students prepare for the workplace.

Freshman Vincent Zamora thinks the program will give him an edge in future job applications.

An advantage of participating in TeenQuest is being able to take part in their Summer Youth Initiative Job Fair.

“A 14 year old like me is going to have a harder time getting a job,” Zamora said. “I want to have experience so I can get a job.”

TeenQuest will help me improve my social skills. You meet new people, and you get involved in a good program.

— Marshall McDaniels, freshman

The program is offered to students who are 14-19 years old and are in high school.

Freshman Marshall McDaniels thinks TeenQuest will help him develop skills for his future.

“TeenQuest will help me improve my social skills,” McDaniels said. “You meet new people, and you get involved in a good program.”

Students like freshman Sierra Walker are enjoying TeenQuest.

“The people are very funny,” Walker said. “It will help me later in life.”
