The soccer team lost to Linden 4-0 on Monday, May 9.

Despite the loss, junior Makenna Hass, goalie, held the honor of MVP for the game.

Sophomore Marysa Gatica is disappointed that they are no longer on their previous winning strike.

“I hope to win our last few games,” Gatica said. “Although it will be tough, the team plans to work that much harder to win the remaining games.”

After this disappointing loss, the Hornets (7-5 overall, 0-5 league) plan to come back and have a better game Friday, May 13, when the Hornets will host Bay City Central.
