Fenton shuts out soccer team
The soccer team suffered a loss against Fenton on Monday, May 2.
Kearsley lost 4-0 to the Tigers.
Although the Hornets lost to the Tigers, Kearsley made sure to display sportsmanship on and off the field.
“I wished we would have won, but throughout the entire game we made sure to represent our school well, despite the loss,” junior Alexis Kelly said.
The Hornets expected a tough battle against the Tigers.
“I expected to lose in all honesty,” Kelly said. “Fenton is ranked very high in the state so, although we were disappointed it is going to push the team that much more to be better.”
The Hornets next game is Wednesday, May 4, at Swartz Creek.
