Soccer team loses second straight
The soccer team lost to the Holly Bronchos 5-0 on Wednesday, April 27.
The Hornets were down two player, which did not help the girls on the field.
Junior Alexis Kelly was disappointed in the loss but said it was to be expected.
“We expected the loss to Holly,” Kelly said. “They have always been a difficult team to beat.”
Although her team lost, Kelly said, “I hope to win next year. The loss was motivation for next year.”
Despite the Hornets losing, junior Alexis Allen received the honor of MVP.
Kearsley (7-2 overall, 0-1 league) hosts its next game Monday, May 2, against Fenton.
