The Kearsley choirs will be hosting a concert Wednesday, March 2, at 7 p.m.

The concert will be in preparation for the festival A Capella will be competing in next month at Swartz Creek.

Junior Jacobi Wright will perform a solo at the pre-festival concert.

“It will be different because it will be in front of peers,” Wright said.

Wright will also be competing in the festival with A Capella. He is excited and anxious.

“I’m kind of nervous about sight reading for the festival,” Wright said.

Tickets will be free.
