Girls’ bowling achieves season record, gains another win

Girls’ bowling broke a pinfall record in its win against Swartz Creek.

The girls’ bowling team broke a season record in their win against Swartz Creek on Saturday, Jan. 23.

They had a score of 1,113 for their final individual game, the highest in the state for the girls’ season so far.

The Hornets were victorious against Swartz Creek with a final score of 28-2.

The top bowlers of the day were freshman Alexis Roof, with pinfalls of 234 and 213, and senior Hannah Ploof, with games of 204 and 238.

This moves the Hornets’ league record to 10-0, giving them a two-game lead in the Metro League with only four matches left.
