The boys’ basketball team tipped off against the Clio Mustangs at home Friday, Jan. 22.

Unfortunately, the Hornets fell short of a win.

The final score gave Clio 62-48 win.

The Mustangs struggled to knock down shots in the first half, giving them a lead by few points going into the second half.

But they were able to finish strong in the second half against the Hornets, outscoring them by 14 points.

Junior Chandler Ford, captain, contributed six points to the Hornets’ score.

The Hornets travel to Linden, Tuesday, Jan. 26. Game time is 7 p.m.
