Hockey team loses to the Griffins
KBH United lost a Flint Metro League match-up 7-1 against the Metro League Griffins on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
The game started off with neither of the teams scoring in the first period.
In the second period, both teams stepped it up.
The Griffins, who are a combined team from Linden and Fenton, were in the lead 4-0, when freshman Landon Kash managed to score a goal before the end of the period, putting KBH United on the board.
Although the team lost, Kash was proud of his team’s effort.
“We played as good as we could,” Kash said. “I think I played my best and we worked well as a team.”
The Griffins scored three more goals in the third period, winning 7-1.
