Boys’ basketball falls to Brandon
The boys’ basketball team lost to the Brandon Blackhawks 81-50 Friday, Jan. 15.
At the end of the first half, the Blackhawks were up 50-15.
Junior Chandler Ford, captain, led the team with 11 points.
Ford was able to knock down three 3-pointers, while sophomore Jack Vollmar hit two triples in the third quarter.
At the end of the third quarter, the Hornets were down 66-38.
Kearsley was able to score 12 points in the fourth quarter but gave up 15 to the Blackhawks.
The next game for the Hornets is Friday, Jan. 22, at 7;30 p.m. at Kearsley.
