The girls’ bowling team struck down two opponents Saturday, Jan. 9.

In the first match of a doubleheader, the Hornets beat Fenton 24-6.

Kearsley had a total pinfall of 2,264, while Fenton only had a pinfall of 1,636.

The top bowlers were seniors Alexxa Flood, with scores of 235 and 213, and Hannah Ploof, who had games of 222 and 216.

Then the team faced Brandon in the second match. The Hornets won 30-0.

The team’s total pinfall was 2,396, while Brandon only had a pinfall of 1,758.

Senior Hannah Ploof, with games of 208 and 278, and sophomore Barbara Hawes, with two games of 212, were the top bowlers in the match.

Kearsley’s next match is Saturday, Jan. 16, against Flushing at Holly Lanes.
