Freshman Mackenzie Ramey was the game-high scorer with 17 points.
Ramey did not let the loss faze her.
“I’m very proud of my team even though we didn’t come out with the win,” Ramey said. “We kept up with them (LakeVille) the whole game and never gave up.”
The Hornets are now 2-4 overall and 0-2 in the Metro League.
The team will face Davison next on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at home.
