The girls’ and boys’ cross country teams both finished last at the second Metro League Jamboree on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

The girls took eighth place with 217 points. Linden won that meet with 41.

The boys also took eighth, scoring 227 points. Fenton won the boys’ meet with 46.

The girls’ top runners were junior Alexis Kelly, who finished 33rd with a time of 23:31.1, and senior Diane Bond, who finished 39th in 24:30.3.

For the boys, sophomore Donald Martin placed 42nd. His time was 19:43.1, while sophomore Jack Vollmar placed 44th running a 20:19.1.
