Tennis loses to Fenton
The tennis team lost to the Fenton Tigers 8-0 at home Sept. 8.
The only singles player to win a game was senior Josh Walters, No. 4 singles, in the second set.
The No. 1 doubles team of sophomore Meteo Booth and junior Dante Schwartz also won a game in the second set.
In the first set, the No.2 doubles team of senior Tyler Frasher and junior Jacobi Wright won a game in the first set.
Sophomores Adam Sefa and Jacob Jackson, at No.3 doubles, won a game in their first set, as well.
Walters was glad he won a game against “such a good team like Fenton.”
“I was a little disappointed that I didn’t win a set or match,” Walters said. “Fenton is a tough opponent though, so I am pleased with how well I played for being new to the team this year.”
The Hornets’ next match will be Sept. 9 at home against Davison.
