The Eclipse is a publication of the newspaper class at Kearsley High School.
The Eclipse is an open forum for exchange of comment and criticism. It is open to all students and others interested in Kearsley High School.
Views expressed and content of The Eclipse is by and comes from the student authors and editors.
The editor in chief maintains final decision on content from the staff. The editor in chief and the adviser maintain final decision on content from contributing writers.
Write A Letter
The Eclipse encourages you to write a letter to the editor. Just click the “Write Us” area near the top of the homepage, write your letter, and submit it along with a valid email address. Your email address will not be published. It is used to confirm the validity of the letter.
The Editorial Board of The Eclipse staff reserves the right not to print a letter. Personal attack letters will not be published. All letters to the editor must include the writer’s name. Letters may be edited for clarity and length. Material that is in poor taste may not be published or may be edited.

The Eclipse encourages you to comment on an article or opinion. Just write your full name and email address, write your comments, and then submit it. Your email address will not be published. It is used to confirm the validity of your comments.
The Eclipse intends for this area to be used to foster healthy, thought-provoking discussion. Comments are expected to adhere to our standards and to be respectful and constructive. Furthermore, we do not permit any of the following inappropriate content: Libel or defamatory statements, any copyrighted, trademarked, or intellectual property of others, the use of profanity or foul language, and personal attacks.
All comments are reviewed and approved by the adviser, who will share the comments with the editor in chief or his/her designee when time permits, to ensure that the comments meet these standards. The Eclipse does not allow anonymous comments. Online comments that are found in violation of these policies will not be published. If comments are published that the adviser and editor in chief later deem to violate these policies, those comments will be removed as quickly as possible.
