The soccer team lost to Brandon 6-2 at home on May 13.

Senior Kügar Nettell was the only one  to score for the Hornets in the match.

Freshman Marysa Gatica was not pleased with the outcome but knows the Hornets can play better.

“We played a good first half, but in the second half we ran out of energy,” Gatica said. “We know what we have to work on so we can improve our game, and we are all going to come to win.”

The Hornets’ next match is scheduled on May 15 at home against Davison.
