The soccer team lost its match at home against Holly 4-1 on April 30 after losing on April 27 at Flushing 3-0.

The Flushing game served as the Hornets’ first Metro League match.

On April 25, the Hornets competed in a tournament at Alma that included Lakeview, Howard City Tri County, and Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy.

They won their first game, shutting out Lakeview 5-0.

However, the Hornets lost the championship game against Howard City Tri County in a 6-round PK shootout.
