The student council of Kearsley High School has been working hard to make school events fun and memorable for everyone. With the president London Struck-Curtis and advisor Amanda Curtis, the student council had a successful homecoming.
At recent homecoming pep assemblies, they set up games like Hungry Hungry Hippos, Box Stack, and Table Surf, which got everyone laughing and cheering. These games are a great way to bring students together and boost the school spirit.
On top of that, the student council took charge of decorating the hallways, gym, and cafeteria for the homecoming dance. Thanks to their creativity, they brought “No Place like Hoco” to life with tiny tornadoes and yellow brick roads filling the halls making the dance feel extra special for their classmates to enjoy.
“Our goal is to make sure everyone has a great time and feels connected to the school,” Struck-Curtis said.
The advisor Amanda Curtis added,”It’s amazing to see how these activities help students build leadership and teamwork skills while having fun.”
If you’re interested in helping out or just want to be a part of the fun, the student council always welcomes new members. It’s a great way to get involved, make new friends, and help shape the high school experience!
