So much work, such little time, such amazing people that are often overlooked. Mrs. Ayre and Mrs. Hill are both part of the center of everything at Kearsley High School. These super heroes take any problem that has been thrown at them (their daily duties) and find ways to rise to those challenges.
Super heroes, often have room for improvement, even if they are the best of the best. Mrs. Hill was asked what words of advice she would give to herself when she was just starting out.
“Don’t be concerned about what people think,” Hill stated. “The truth is, you can teach an old dog new tricks.”
Throughout KHS we do see her super powers come into play after working and training for a long time!
Though, when it comes to their duties, we can see that there is much more to being the behind the scene super heroes of Kearsley. There are many things students might not know about. We conversed with Mrs. Arye about the joy she has here at KHS.
“Some job duties that the students might not know about are attendance, medical, and homecoming stuff!” Arye explained.
Many students around campus view these angels as their personal heroes. We asked students how they have personally been influenced by this duo.
Senior, Aiden Tipton, touched on how how much they have been there for him throughout his high school career.
“They are the first people I see everyday…” Tipton explained. “They are always there for me when my friends aren’t and when I need them.”
With passion and persistence these great faces help welcome our peers to KHS. They demonstrate deeper meaning of discipline and how it unfolds in the school community. Every world should have unsung heroes, and we here at Kearsley are so fortunate to have these ones.
